•  The State Government is bringing all the ‘super speciality’ services in a hospital under one roof to enable improved access to all such services at Government hospitals. The first such combined service centre is being set up at the Medical College Hospital in Kolkata. Being situated at government hospitals, the services cost much less than in private hospitals and yet are of the same high quality.
•  Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee instructed the State Agriculture Department to place emphasis on an alternative agricultural method to tackle rain deficit, since the monsoon has been very weak till date. A campaign has also been started to create awareness among farmers on conservation of water and not extract groundwater indiscriminately.

•   Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee conferred 'Chalachchitra Samman' during a programme at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata. The honour was bestowed on the prominent persons for their contribution to the industry. The honour was introduced by the State Government in 2012, and has continued annually ever since.
•  Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was deeply saddened at the demise of Sheila Dikshit, the former Chief Minister of Delhi.
•  Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee paid tribute to the poet, playwright and song writer Dwijendralal Roy on his birth anniversary.
•  Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated a series of developmental projects at Bantala. She also laid foundation stone of an Integrated Leather Complex ‘Karma-Diganta’, among the largest in the world, comprising leather goods and footwear parks, micro tanners’ hub, training centres, waste management facilities and support centres.

•  The State’s performance of credit linkage of Self Help Groups in the Cooperative Sector in the year 2018-2019 is highest in the country, said Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today. As per report of NABARD, West Bengal provided credit to 97, 535 Self Help Groups in the Cooperative Sector, leading to huge creation of employment and income generation, mostly among women.
•  Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee greeted all on the occasion of 'Banamahotsav - 2019'.
•  Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took part in a walk from Jorasanko Thakurbari to Gandhi Murti on Mayo Road on the occasion of 'Water Conservation Day'. He urged all to abstain from wasting water.
•  Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was present in the centenary celebration of Beltala Girl’s High School at Nazrul Mancha.
•  Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attended an event at Harish Chatterjee Street on the occasion of the third anniversary of the 'Safe Drive, Save Life' (SDSL) project. It was started at Kolkata in 2016 and later taken all across Bengal. An awareness bike rally was organized by the Kolkata Police on this occasion. The number of accidents in Bengal has come down by 27% and the number of fatalities too has come down by 17%, said Hon'ble Chief Minister.
•  Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attended the opening ceremony of the Rath Yatra organised by ISKCON in Kolkata. She also attended the Rath Yatra festival at Mahesh in Hooghly district later.
•  The state Cabinet approved 10 percent reservation for ‘economically weaker section’ in state government jobs and in educational institutions across the state.
•  National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has awarded first prize to Bengal for excellence in performance for Scheduled Castes for the financial year 2017-18. Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Congratulates all for this huge achievement.
•  Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee felicitated eminent doctors with the 'Bishista Chikitshak Award' at a ceremony at SSKM Hospital on the occasion of Doctors’ Day. She also inaugurated the first Level-1 Trauma Care Centre of West Bengal. Hon'ble Chief minister expressed her praise and gratitude to the doctors.
