 .  A meeting was convened by Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with the Chairman of Planning Commission in New Delhi.   The Planning Commission approved West Bengal's annual Plan of Rs 30,31 for the current fiscal, which is 17 per cent higher than the  outlay for 2012-13, meeting the state's expectations. The Rs 30,314-crore Plan size includes additional central assistance of Rs   6,645 crore. The Commission had approved a Plan size of Rs 25,910 crore for the previous fiscal.
