Chalachitra Samman - 2023
•  Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee paid her respects by placing wreaths at Dhan Dhanya Stadium on the occasion of death anniversary of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar, the legendary actor of Bengali cinema. Like every year this year too, special film honors and Mahanayak honors are awarded. Sohini Sarkar as an actress, Anirban Bhattacharya as an actor, and Harnath Chakraborty as a film director were awarded the 'Special Film Award' this year. Besides, Koel Mallick, Srabanti Chatterjee, Sayantika Banerjee, Subhasree Gangopadhyay and Ankush Hazra were given the 'Mahanayak' honour.
