200th birth anniversary of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar - 2019
•  Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the year-long programme on the occasion of 200th birth anniversary of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar, at his birth place Birsingha village in Ghatal, Medinipur. On the occasion, she inaugurated and laid foundation stone of several projects for the development of Paschim Medinipur and Jhargram districts.
